8-Year-Old’s Throat Slashed after Being Abducted from School in Portmore

According to reports late Thursday evening, a minor was abducted from a school in Portmore, St. Catherine.
Details are that the student, who is an eight-year-old girl, was taken from the Braeton Primary School on Thursday via a vehicle. She was later found in Vineyard Town, St Andrew where she was transported to and abandoned.
As reported by the Jamaica Observer, the young girl was found by people passing where she was abandoned.
The child was found with her throat slashed and was seemingly left to die.
She was taken to the hospital where she was admitted.
No motive has been reported for the incident which is being regarded as attempted murder by the police.
Investigations are ongoing.
