Album with Skillibeng, Tommy Lee Sparta, Capleton sets Record on USA Reggae Album Sales Chart
On Feb 10th , 2021, the Jamaica Observer said that Contractor’s compilation album Tropical House Cruises to Jamaica The Reggae Collector’s Edition was the #6 top selling Reggae Album in America that week.
This was according to Nielsen Soundscan which tracks the sales of music in America of both digital and physical releases. Since the album’s release on June 5th 2020.
This was its 32nd week in the USA reggae album sales chart with a peak at #2.
This means that for 2020-2021 the album set the record as the longest album out of Jamaica to be on the USA reggae album sales chart. In 2020-2021 , the album is 2nd only to Bob Marley which spend the entire year on the Streaming driven reggae album charts.

The album also features Shatta Wale, Sizzla, Jethro Sheeran, Don Yute, Mojo Morgan from Morgan Heritage, Vybz Kartel, Trinity Chris and more. The album hit the Billboard compilation album chart at #16.
The album also went to #1 in Ghana in all genres and hit the top 10 on Itunes reggae album charts in 14 countries.
Contractor will be releasing another album in 2021 with Digital One Productions and will be headlined by Julian Marley.
