Queen Elizabeth II Has COVID-19

Buckingham Palace reports that Queen Elizabeth II has tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday. The queen is currently showing mild flu-like symptoms but she will continue with light duties throughout the following week at Windsor Castle.
A statement released by the palace confirmed that the 95-year-old British monarch will “continue to receive medical attention” while following the necessary guidelines.
Queen Elizabeth II received 3 injections of the COVID-19 vaccine. Similarly, her eldest son Prince Charles and daughter-in-law, the Duchess of Cornwall Camilla have also caught the virus. Charles, of course, has returned to work.
The queen is Britain’s longest-reigning monarch and on February 6 she reached the milestone of 70 years on the throne.
