Ishawna Gifts Skatta Burrell a Mercedes Benz S Class – See Photos

Sharing the fruits of her success with friend and workmate Cordel ‘Skatta’ Burrell, dancehall artiste Ishawna gifted the Downsound Entertainment music producer a brand new Mercedes Benz S Class.

Skatta took to Instagram to thank the Pot of Gold singer, sharing photos of him and Ishawna at the car dealership as well as a short video of him testing his new ride. Expressing his gratitude for having been able to survive the recent pandemic to see this come to fruition, Skatta wrote,

“One Swipe an it’s a S Class. Thank you @mslegendary (Ishawna). Glad I survived Covid to receive this blessing. is a S class, not a Sex class.”

Ishawna, expressing that the gift was for his constant support, commented, “Royalties fi yuh loyalty.”

Ishawna has been enjoying a renaissance following the release of her single Brace It with English singer Ed Sheeran and her Reggae Sumfest performance over the summer. In September, Ishawna signed her first international record deal with New York-based music label Payday Records, and Skatta accompanied the singjay to the signing with label founder Patrick Moxey.

The Equal Rights singer and Skatta were once rumoured to be in a relationship following Ishawna’s ex-boyfriend Foota Hype’s accusations that the producer was the cause of their breakup. However, he denied the rumours, but in a 2015 interview with Winford Williams on OnStage, seemingly Skatta stated that what happened between the two occurred after her breakup and that they needed to be there for each other.
