Jamaica’s opening match of the campaign was against Dominican Republic which ended 1-0. Reggae Boyz’s only goal of the WCQ so far was scored by Shamar Nicholson. On the other hand, “Cephas was an absolute beast,” in the match hence many Jamaicans are looking forward to seeing his explosive pace again.
Despite being happy with the three points from the previous match, head coach Heimir Hallgrímsson stated that he did not like the style of play and the ball was not being moved forward quickly enough, with that said it’s expected that a few changes will be made for Sunday.
On the other hand, Dominica lost 6-0 to Guatemala.
