Cardi B and Offset have welcomed their third child together amidst ongoing divorce proceedings. The “WAP” rapper shared the exciting news with her 165 million Instagram followers Thursday morning, posting a series of heartfelt photos and videos from the hospital after the successful delivery.
The couple, already parents to 6-year-old daughter Kulture and 2-year-old son Wave, celebrated the arrival of their new bundle of joy on September 7, 2024. Cardi’s post featured eight slides, including six photos and two videos, capturing intimate moments with their newborn.
In one affectionate video, Offset can be seen holding the baby, while another photo shows Cardi breastfeeding. She captioned the post, “The prettiest lil thing,” and included the birthdate, “9/7/24.”
Despite the couple’s recent divorce filing, the family gathered to welcome the new addition, with both Kulture and Wave also present in the hospital. Cardi’s post quickly gained traction, amassing over 2.5 million likes within 50 minutes of going live.
For the second video in the post, the 31-year-old New York rapper whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Cephus played a Dancehall song to signify the moment. The song of choice was Kalado’s ‘Bring Life’ which was released back in 2013.
Fans and celebrities alike flooded the comments with congratulations and well-wishes, celebrating the newest member of the Cephus family. While the future of Cardi B and Offset’s relationship remains uncertain, their shared joy over their growing family is evident.
