Mr. Vegas Says “Vybz Kartel and Spice destroy the fabric of Dancehall”

According to ‘Heads High‘ deejay Mr. Vegas, Vybz Kartel and Spice’s dominance in Dancehall has left a negative impact on the genre, he made the statement while critiquing Spice’s performance at Popcaan’s Unruly Fest held in London, England over the weekend.
Before making his bold statement, he informed his viewers on his most recent live chat that he was in Dancehall before he became a popular artiste, hence he knows a lot about the business, highlighting that the lyrics being used in songs nowadays could not have been used back in the days.
With regards to Spice, Mr. Vegas expressed that she has no “talent” and often times draws for theatrics while performing, he stated, “Spice, pan di woman dem side, with no talent when it comes on to being a recording artiste, she’s not a great talent, great stage performer if yuh wah call it that with har one bag a theatrics.”
He highlighted a controversial moment during her performance over the weekend in England, “one time that cuddnt gwaan inna Dancehall, man a guh pan stage and skinout, nuh man!… dem nuh have nuh boundaries… Spice totally destroy the fabric of Dancehall,” he stated.
Notably, at one point during her performance, a man considered to be “Shaky” entered the stage and performed several female dance moves as Spice spurred him on, “Spice a disgrace, spice bring the most nastyniss inna Dancehall… yuh bring shaky many pan stage… wi nuh wah that inna Dancehall,” he also stated in his lengthy rant.
He continues, “But she nuh have no musical talent of such very mediocre, and mi tell unuh so from shi sing ‘suh shi like it’ pan di stage, shi affi draw fi the sheet, she affi draw fi the dancer dem and shi affi plant smaddy inna di crowd fi come get a forward.”
“Mi know di industry like the back a mi hand people… They have totally destroyed the fabric of Dancehall and who are the two main persons, Vybz Kartel and Spice destroy the fabric of Dancehall, yeah, anyway yuh wah tek it unuh tek it, facts!”
He continued, “One time nuh man cudd’n sing nuh song a tell gyal bout fi push hood dung inna throat and dem sitt’n deh, Kartel legalize that, facts… suh wi nuh have nuh boundaries again inna Dancehall we jus can sing anything.”
