Popcaan expressed his thoughts about multi-genre producer Rvssian, he detailed that his song on the popular Go Go Club Riddim was not released. According to the Unruly Boss, Rvssian did not believe in him back then and nothing seemingly has changed.
The iconic beat has gotten a new lease of life with a few tweaks added and a new name, Dutty Money Riddim as contemporary artistes add their voices to the remodelled beat originally released in 2009.
However, the new beat has generated a few controversies following its release, the latest includes Popcaan.

In a reply via Instagram, Popcaan expressed his disappointment and seemingly feels that his song deserved to be on the original project, which includes the likes of, Vybz Kartel, Blak Ryno, Merital, Tarrus Riley and Aidonia, Nicky B, Flippa Mafia, etc.
According to Popcaan, Rvssian’s decision not to release his song, entitled Really Like, on the original rhythm track was a result of him having no belief in his talent. Which has left him feeling overlooked and questioning why his contribution was shunned.
He expressed his frustration, stating, “Russian style me never released my song on this riddim, him never believe Ina popcaan then, so he won’t believe now.”
Popcaan expressed his feelings in a post shared by oshane21musicupdate via Instagram, in which a screenshot was posted of Rvssian asking fans, “Who uno Wah hear on the DUTTY MONEY RIDDIM.”
The St Thomas Native artiste was replying to a user who tagged his name as to who they would like to hear on the remodelled beat.
