R. Kelly Reportedly Attacked in Jail

Legendary singer, song writer Robert Sylvester Kelly who is also known as R. Kelly was attacked recently according to his lawyer. Kelly is currently behind bars at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Chicago and facing several sexual offense related charges.
Attorney Steve Greenberg who represents R. Kelly tweeted on August 27th that he was informed about his client being injured however he went on to explain that he was getting conflicting reports about the state of injury.
According to Greenberg, 53-year-old R. Kelly should be released, he states “it is time to release Mr. Kelly. The government cannot ensure his safety, and they cannot give him his day in court.”.

R. Kelly was denied bail on Wednesday, October 2nd 2019, he was charged with federal racketeering in sex trafficking during a status hearing in New York, USA.
