Tommy Lee Sparta Confimed For Reggae Sumfest 2023

Recently released Dancehall artiste Tommy Lee Sparta has been confirmed for the 2023 staging of Reggae Sumfest.

The Spartan Soldier entertainer was incarcerated at the Horizon Remand Centre in Kingston, Jamaica before he was released early on March 23, 2023, for good behaviour. He was serving a three-year sentence for the illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.

The official Instagram page for the 30-year-old event uploaded a poster of Tommy Lee and stated in the caption, “Sumfest! Get ready for the Spartan Soldier fi take over the stage July 21st!”

The comment section was filled with excited fans who mentioned that they were on their way to purchase their tickets, and some even noted how quickly Sumfest was able to book the artiste after his release from prison.

One person wrote, “Fresh out of jail and on the roster. I’m here for it! 🔥🔥🔥,” while another mentioned, “Ink still wet on that contract.”

Other artistes that have been confirmed for the show are Minister Marion Hall, Richie Spice, Morgan Heritage, Valiant, Chronic Law, Kabaka Pyramid, and Freddie McGregor. Reggae Sumfest is slated for July 16 – 22, 2023 in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
