17YO Charged with Murder of 36YO in Kingston

Following the fatal shooting on Chancery Lane in Kingston on Tuesday, March 12, a 17-year-old boy has received multiple charges.
Authorities identified the victim as 36-year-old Damian Palmer, who was gunned down around 12:50 pm while standing with friends along the roadway.
The teenager, along with other armed individuals, reportedly opened fire, striking Palmer. He later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
Police investigations led to the subsequent arrest of the teen, who was already in custody for a different offense.
As reported by the Jamaica Observer, charges against him include murder, illegal weapon possession, unauthorized ammunition possession, and using a firearm to commit a felony.
The police are currently organizing his court appearance.
