8YO Abducted Girl Whose Throat was Slashed Dies

The abducted 8-year-old girl, who was found with a slashed throat in St Andrew, succumbed to her injury Saturday morning. The child, identified as Danielle Rowe, was kidnapped from the Braeton Primary and Infant School in Portmore on Thursday and thrown from a vehicle in St Andrew.
After being discovered with her throat slit, she was transported to the hospital. On Friday, The St Catherine South police division conducted an investigation at the school.
Today, Christopher Phillips, Senior Superintendent of Police and head of the St. Catherine South police division, confirmed her death.
Education Minister Fayval Williams has denounced the incident, and Children’s Advocate Diahann Gordon Harrison called the incident “heartless” on Friday as she urged people who know why the child was kidnapped and attacked to notify the police.
