During a recent rant put out` by Foota Hype, he accuses Koffee and her team of sending him death threats and calls her a “demon gyal”. He also bashed her for taking on the collaboration of Gimme with Sam Smith and Jessie Reyez.
On January 11, 2023, Koffee was featured in a single entitled Gimme, which is a track from his upcoming album Gloria. Speaking out against the young reggae artiste, Foota Hype states that entertainers like Koffee are giving dancehall and reggae music a bad name.
In the video, Koffee and Sam Smith were both dancing with people of the same sex, and many other patrons in the club where the video took place were doing the same.

He mentioned that Koffee could have refused to work with Smith on the single if she really wanted to and that he does not respect that she would team up with someone so openly “shakey” because “yuh nah dead fi hungry”.
In an Instagram post made a few days ago, even though he did not mention any names at the time, Foota Hype said, “ITS CLEAR FOR THE WORLD TO SEE IT SAY DEM COME FI DISGRACE JAMAICA, RASRAFARI, REGGAE AND DANCEHALL…”
In a more recent post he uploaded, he called out Koffee and her team, saying that he got death threats from “KOFFEE BATTYMAN TEAM” and that a bounty of 25,000 was put on his head. Telling the Rapture artiste to keep her money, he captioned the post, “Battti ppl can’t scare me @originalkoffee u stenk like…dutty demon gyal a mi run jah crew so come in a unu thousands and few bout unu a send threat ring unu mother.”
