It has been reported that the mother of Donna-Lee Donaldson has been hospitalised due to her health worsening as her daughter remains missing.
Sophia Lugg, the mother of the missing social media influencer, was reportedly admitted to the University of The West Indies following a continuous deterioration in her health since Donaldson disappeared 16 days ago.
The reports of Miss Lugg’s hospitalization came from Nationwide News, but there are currently no details on her condition.
Miss Lugg has led a campaign for justice for her daughter’s unsolved disappearance and during last week’s protest at Constant Spring Police Station, it was revealed that Miss Lugg was rushed to the hospital.
“My sister rush gone to UC right now because this is killing my sister, it is killing the family,” Donaldson’s uncle disclosed to Nationwide News last week.
“If we find her and we have her body to bury, tonight would be nine-night,” he continued, explaining that while the family would still be grieving, having Donaldson’s body would allow them to her to rest. However, not knowing what has happened to his niece is “hurting” and “disturbing”.
Meanwhile, Donaldson’s boyfriend, Constable Maitland, was arrested yesterday in connection to her disappearance.
