Gunmen Kill Chinese Nationals In St. Elizabeth Robbery

A husband and a wife of Chinese nationality were killed on Thursday night in a shooting incident that took place at their Supermarket located in the district of Bellevue, Southfield St. Elizabeth.
According to the reports coming from the Junction Police, at about 8 pm 3 men armed with guns pulled up at the business place which led to them holding the Chinese male owner of the establishment at gunpoint.
It is reported that the men then stole an uncertain amount of cash from the business, then went on to ask for more but were denied.
At that point when the gunmen were denied more cash, they are said to have opened fire on the wife and husband running the establishment, leading to them getting multiple shots. The gunmen then fled the scene and escaped in a car that was waiting for them.
As a result of the shooting, the male owner died on the spot while the female was rushed and admitted to the hospital where she later fell victim to her serious injuries. The identities of the deceased Chinese nationals have been withheld from the public.
