
Junelle Bromfield Celebrates Noah Lyles Winning 100m Final: Says “The double is alive”

Jamaican athlete Junelle Bromfield was not about to make her many Jamaican critics stop her from celebrating her American boyfriend Noah Lyles‘ gold-winning run on Sunday at the Paris Olympics.
Bromfield who is scheduled to make her Paris Olympics debut on Monday, August 5, in the 400m, round one heat-6, publicly expressed that she’s in favour of the World Champion and Olympic Champion winning the sprint double.
She stated, “The double is alive” in a post shared on her Instagram page which has prompted more support from her fans and also some criticism in her comments. She also shared a photo taken of Lyles hugging her after his victory.

Noah Lyles won the 100m on Sunday in 9.79 seconds, and Bromfield’s teammate Kishane Thompson was second. In support of Thompson, she reshared a post to her Instagram stories, highlighting his silver medal achievement.

Lyles also shared the photo of himself and his Jamaican girlfriend in a slide which he captioned, “America, I told you I got this!”
