Dancehall veteran Mavado is missing his mother and hoped online to post photographic memories of her. The artiste always expresses his love for his mother, Elizabeth Gordon, and often shares photos of her with his fans.
In his latest post, the Gully Gad artiste dropped two pictures, with one showing him grinning in a room of several other people while his mother, known as Ms. Pinny, looks down. The other image shows him with his arm around her as they pose.
He wrote a heartfelt message to his deceased mother in the caption of the post, telling her that he was thinking of her and how awful it was when she passed away, leaving him and his siblings.
“I’m thinking of you mama I just woke up with you on my mind I’m so sorry mama and I miss you and I love you forever ❤️,” Mavado wrote.
He continued by saying, “It’s just fuck up when you leave us but me and my brothers and my little sister Joey we live with you in our hearts I love you lady.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
Ms. Pinny passed away on March 11, 2021, while Mavado was in Florida. The news of her death, which was said to be quite sudden, left him distraught.
The post, which has garnered over 4,912 likes since being shared on Instagram some hours ago, received encouraging messages from supporters. One IG user commented, “1 of my greatest fear in this world. Sending you love and light,” and another urged him to “just keep shining for her.”
