The Jamaica Constabulary Force is now searching for a woman who is believed to be the main suspect in the murder of the primary school student who was abducted and found with a slashed throat.
Although the Police High Command did not disclose the details of the case, a report states that the woman has been identified as a prime suspect based on the evidence obtained.
The police are apparently making headway in their investigation and are hopeful for an early breakthrough in the case.
After being abducted last Thursday at Braeton Primary and Infant School in Portmore, St. Catherine, Danielle was discovered in St. Andrew with her throat cut. Danielle passed away on Saturday following surgery.
The report also outlined that Senior Superintendent Christopher Phillips, head of the St. Catherine South Police, spoke at a prayer meeting at the primary school on Monday.
He purportedly advised the public not to believe false information or spread “various interpretations and accusations” about the case, reassuring them that the JCF was “equipped to handle cases of this nature.”
