Popcaan Says “We Will Prove Them Wrong” in Statement About His New Album ‘Great Is He’

After dropping his latest musical project, the dancehall/reggae superstar took to Twitter to urge his fans to check out and stream his latest album, which hit stores and all online platforms last Friday. The ‘Ova Dweet’ artiste told his followers he had put alot of work into the creation of this project.
The artiste posted a photomontage with the following caption, “This process wasn’t easy, but My album is out now go stream it and enjoy it!! I appreciate everyone who play their part in getting this project together. I just want to thank God for my talent, my vision and my blessings!”
The album is Popcann’s second musical project in the last three years. The 17-track album features African superstar Bruna Boy, who recently performed in jamaica with the Unruly Boss. Also featured on the album are fellow parish natives Chronic Law, and his girlfriend Toni-Ann Singh, rap star Drake was also featured. The album is a mixture of Dancehall, R&B and afrobeat.
In a tweet posted on the same thread, the artist went on to say the following:
“They don’t believe in us but we will prove them wrong. unrulyforever nah beg Fren or support #GIHE now and forever more!!!”

The album focuses on topics such as ‘badmind’, sex, trust issues, money and bragging about the high life, and includes a few songs that focus on overcoming struggles and hardships faced while growing up.
Popcaan has enjoyed tremendous international success in the music business since he departed from the now-extinct Gaza camp led by Vybz Kartel.
