Shenseea Shows Lover-Girl Side in ‘Neva Neva’ Music Video

As Shenseea continues to stretch her artistic talents musically, she dropped the music video for Neva Neva on Thursday, May 9, 2024, after her last controversial song, Hit and Run, took over social media. Neva Neva is a Reggae and Pop-music-infused track.
The song’s video has garnered over two thousand likes and more than eight thousand views in under an hour of being uploaded to her official YouTube account. The single represents the love of two individuals who are not good for each other but ultimately cannot stay away from each other.
Some lyrics, “Mi should a know from the beginning you a trouble nuh, mi should a neva gi you none a fimi love ennuh…but now yuh know say mi a tink bout yuh night and the day, love yuh, love yuh, love yuh, don’t know what else to say.”
Continuing, the chorus of the song casts Shenseea as being a ride or die female as she sings, “I never say never, oh baby I know better. Want no more pretending, this ting yah never ending. I never say never, mi nuh wah fi feel no pressure. Oh from the beginning, this thing yah never ending.”
She continues to paint a picture of a Bonnie and Clyde toxic love situation with the music video where the two lovers don a black mask and glasses and proceed to commit several robberies, after which the authorities start a manhunt for them.
