Mexico Gets 2 Late Goals To Disappoint Jamaica Boyz At The Office

Tonight Jamaica faced off against the central American giants Mexico, and all eyes were on the Reggae Boyz as they were playing a really good game for the entire first half even though they were more on the defensive side of things.
The optimism got cut down a bit, however, as the Paul Hall-led team went down to 10 players in the extra time minutes of the first half as key defender Damion Lowe received a red card booking, leaving the squad now vulnerable.
Even with the additional space though, the Reggae Boyz did not seem to budge and remained focused, still playing along with their tactics until finally midfielder Daniel Johnson from the Preston North End club scored their first goal in the 50th minute.
Check out the goal below.
With a goal in hand, the Boyz looked pretty confident, but their hopes were turned upside down when in the 81st minute, Hènry Martin put the ball in the back of the net for Mexico to equalize and Alexis Vega pushed them in the lead with an 83rd-minute goal to win the game.
Currently, Mexico is in 3rd place on the Concacaf World Cup Qualifiers table with 17 points, while Jamaica remains in 6th place with 7 points.
The Reggae Boyz will next face off against 4th place Panama on Sunday, January 30th where they will look to secure the 3 points with hopes of moving up the table to get one of the World Cup qualifying spots.
