Cumberland High School Stabbing Incident Goes Viral; Police Investigate – Watch Video

Video footage of a St. Catherine school, identified as the Cumberland High School, has gone viral on social media after a male student was viciously stabbed after school hours.

According to reports, the unidentified teen had just gotten off the school compound on Thursday, June 15 at around 2:30 PM after classes were dismissed for the day when he was accosted and attacked by a group of young men. The victim was rushed to the Spanish Town Hospital for treatment.

After the incident, an investigation was started to find out the circumstances that led to the tragedy and to capture the perpetrators. Reports state that law enforcement has named at least four individuals that they think are involved in the stabbing incident. They include Jamiel, alias Ears, a man called OD, another man known as EJ, and a fourth known by the name Okra.

Anyone with information on these four men is being asked to contact Crime Stop at 311 to provide their locations to the police.

In the meantime, the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) has posted a summons on their Twitter page asking the men to turn themselves over to the law by reporting to the Portmore Central Investigation Branch at the shortest notice.
