As she prepares for her first Sunday service, former Dancehall artiste Lady Saw now Minister Marion Hall has consecrated the Fort Lauderdale, Florida, building that will be the home of her ministry.
Hall stepped away from Dancehall in 2015 and went on to begin a career as a gospel artiste. She was later ordained as a minister in Jamaica in 2018 and has been preaching via social media for the last few years.
After a lengthy search for a location to house her ministry, Hall recently acquired a property for her church, the Holy Ghost Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ, with its first Sunday service expected to take place tomorrow.
In an Instagram post on Saturday, the I Won’t Worry singer wished her supporters a happy Sabbath and expressed in the caption that she is working hard to get the church ready in time for a service tomorrow.
“Happy sabbath people of God. I’m doing my best to get the church building ready for me to preach a sermon tomorrow, but let’s see how the rest of the day goes,” Hall wrote.
In a short video, Hall shared that they would be adding the carpeting to the building today and ensured to bless the building with consecrated olive oil before they did.
While showcasing the carpet fitters at work, Hall expressed that her supporters will love the church once it is completed.
