The death of 14-year-old Rasheem Wilson on January 10 left many residents of 100 Lane off Red Hills Road distraught. Wilson’s grandmother and other residents who protested after he died asserted that the “innocent” teen was killed in cold blood by the police.

However, a collage photograph is now making the rounds online of what is alleged to be the deceased with a rifle. The collaged photo consisted of two side-by-side images of a male, one of which showed him posing with the firearm in front of a vehicle while wearing a mask.

The other image in the collage, which had his face hidden with a sticker, showed him positioning the weapon.

Following the release of these photos, internet users have been expressing their views on whether or not they believed the teen, who police said was killed in a shoot-out, was actually innocent.

On X, where the collaged photo surfaced on Friday, one person expressed, “With a high powered rifle?  Of course the police is going to shoot to kill.  In that situation, it is kill or be killed.  Where did he get the gun and who gave it to him?”

Another wrote, “Did y’all see the video? Social media has been helping to prove that these protest are fake because the community actually knows that truth.”

Meanwhile, some people disregarded the images since it is only an allegation.

“The is not true. Why is the face hidden? They are just using these pics to justify the murder of the young man. Jamaica is turning out to be a cruel place,” one person objected.

A fourth person commented, “I have to see his face this can be any 14 year old move !”
