Usain Bolt Tests Positive for Covid-19

Following several reports online, Usain Bolt earlier took to Instagram to states that he was not sure if he contracted COVID-19. Hours later PM Holness via a press conference confirms that Usain Bolt in fact tested positive and has since been informed.

Last week photos surfaced of Usain Bolt and several other popular Jamaicans, some from overseas, notably Raheem Sterling and Leon Bailey. They all were at a surprise party which is now being questioned.

In a press conference, the question was asked whether or not the persons who traveled from overseas followed quarantine policies, in answering Dr. Tufton stated that the Police are currently investigating that matter and punishments will be handed down if deemed necessary.

Bolt earlier stated that he woke up and checked social media while doing so he saw the news, Bolt states that he did a test over the weekend because he was scheduled to leave the Island and go work overseas. Bolt also explained that even though he did not experience any symptom(s) he has since been in quarantine and urges the people who were in contact with him to also self-quarantine.

He is yet to follow up on the previous video he made about not knowing his status however since then PM Holness and Dr. Tufton have confirmed that the Jamaican legend in fact carries the deadly virus.

Usain Bolt recently posted content online with himself and his daughter bonding, we do hope that baby “OLYMPIA LIGHTNING BOLT” did not contract the virus also.
