Skeng Says He is The “Beast” of His Era

Skeng, one of dancehall’s most prominent, has proclaimed himself to be the beast of his time as he hints at his very first EP. The young dancehall star, known for his gangster songs, shared a photo of himself holding the leashes of two black goats on Instagram last night. The image seems to imply that he is the Greatest Of All Time (G.O.A.T.), while the caption states that he is the “Beast Of The Era.”

The Instagram post has accumulated more than 39,000 likes, including approbation from Queen of Rap Nicki Minaj. Fans have flooded the comments with praise, hailing him as the leader and agreeing that he is a beast.

Skeng, born Kevon Douglas, has been described as many things since he rose to stardom, and now “Beast” seemingly fits his raw, aggressive style. Producing songs that pay homage to thugs and glorify drugs and gun violence, Skeng is also known for having an infamous reputation, but he retains his beastly persona.

The deejay has made himself quite relevant in the local and international music industry, with celebrities such as Nicki Minaj and Bobby Shmurda endorsing his songs. Skeng also secured a collaboration with Nicki on the remix of his Likkle Miss single and has been working on the sequel to one of his biggest hit songs, Protocol, featuring Tommy Lee Sparta. Now the Gvnman Shift artiste has indicated that an EP is coming. In the caption of his post, he included the hashtags “#RattGang #Ep #Now.”
