On the heels of Queen Ifrica’s stunning accusations against her father, Derrick Morgan has broken his silence and is seemingly taking legal action against his daughter. He responded to Queen Ifrica by posting an old video of Queen Ifrica, which contradicts her recent statements.
Derrick Morgan took to social media to share the video of Queen Ifrica being interviewed with the caption, “ ‘Queen I Freak Ya’ you are a disgrace to the Morgan Family. You are a wealth of lies and accusations that is why our lawyers are on the case.”
In the interview, the reggae artiste gave a different explanation from the one she gave a few days ago via Instagram Live. She responded to the interviewer’s question about the inception of her controversial song entitled Daddy by stating, “When I did Daddy, I always wanted to write about that topic, incest, because it affects so many people that I know personally.”
She also revealed that she first met her dad in her twenties, and not having a dad inspired the song, seeing that she needed a father and could not understand how fathers molest their daughters.
However, Queen Ifrica did not categorically deny that she was ever sexually assaulted during the interview in question.
Queen Ifrica continued the interview by talking about the impact of her Daddy song following its release and the purpose of music.
“That’s what music is, you use it to speak for those people who can’t for themself because a whole kettle of fish just opened up, and little girls were coming forward from everywhere and reporting and big women who have had it in them for years call my phone I had to meet up wid and hug them, men who were molested as well, who are now in big jobs, who are afraid to talk about it I had to meet them in private and console them,” Queen Ifrica revealed.
