Dancehall star Andre Hugh Sutherland aka Popcaan who is currently in Africa continues to make headlines after his latest back and forth with a former musical friend online. Former Unruly Camp artiste Versi took to Instagram hours ago to inform his fans and the dancehall space about the work he has put in over the years with several popular musicians including, Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, Romeich, I-Octane and Popcaan.
The statement turned out to be a verse from one of his new songs whereby he highlighted that he wrote for the veterans and helped to build Unruly, while Beenie Man, Romeich and Cham acknowledged the post from Versi in a positive manner, Popcaan was not about to hide his feelings and made his colourful thoughts be known in the comments.
“Bwoy guh suck out yuh muma!!!” Popcaan wrote in reply to the statement, See below.
The argument did not stop there as Versi clapped back, telling Popcaan to go suck his father. He went on to remind Popcaan that he helped him to write “Unruly Anthem” which was a hit song done by the team.
Popcaan replied outlining that he has been avoiding Versi and others but they keep following him up. He questioned how could Versi help to build Unruly if he can’t build himself. Popcaan then requests that Versi stop from “envy” him and should instead go and “buss yuh brain and make good music”.
The Unruly Boss also outlined that Versi had a platform before him and did not highlight him but he highlighted Versi on his when he got the break in dancehall years later. He concluded by saying that he is tired of all the badmind people around him.
See his very explicit post below which was shared as a story in Instagram.
