Bounty Killer Calls Dancehall Trap “Rat Trap Music”… Teams Up With Suku From Ward 21 On New Dancehall Juggling

Veteran Dancehall artiste Bounty Killer is back at it again, defending dancehall music. This time the “Poor People Governor” is letting his fans know that the genre is not dead, and he is making his point by collaborating with Misik Muzik owned by Suku from the group Ward 21, on their new project entitled “Stench Riddim”.

The new juggling riddim features other veteran deejays like Beenie Man, Bling Dawg, Busy Signal and Craigy-T from T.O.K as well as upcoming artistes such as Point O, and Swashii.

Bounty made two posts on his Instagram concerning the project. The first post was about his advocacy of authentic Dancehall music and the other, was him giving a preview of his song on the riddim.

While rooting for the genre the “5 star 5-star” captioned on his Instagram “Tink wi did ago just sit and watch dancehall fall inna unuh rat trap music”, then going on in the caption of his post to say “Real Producer and real artiste still alive”.

In the second post, where he shared his song on the riddim, “Killer” could be heard singing the lyrics “Anuh fi him again a mine, mi make she feel electrified, anuh visa make she fly, a me if you ask she wi testify”.

So far the song fits perfectly on the beat, with the “Grung Gad” sounding a bit more melodic than usual and that combined with the 90’s feel of the riddim produced by the veteran musician Suku, will make it naturally accepted as a hit to Dancehall fans.
